Tacomans and others from Pierce County interested in sustainability, conservation, and the environment will get the jump on St. Patrick's Day when Green Drinks visits Doyle's Public House, 208 St. Helens Ave., Tacoma, on Thursday, March 6, from 5-8 pm. Our March sponsor is the Cascadia chapter of the US Green Building Council (www.cascadiagbc.org/emerging-green-builders).
"Whooooo are you? Whooo, whooo? I really wanna know." We'll have name tags available but they aren't nearly as nice as one you already have stashed in your desk. Dig around in your odds-and-ends drawer and bring one along. Alternatively, consider making your own Green Drinks name tag out of scavenged stuff and wow the rest of us. (You know you will.) And bring those business cards.
Getting There. Consider leaving your car at home and using your feet, pedal power, or public transit. Doyle's is located on St. Helens, within easy walking distance of a stop served by a #11 or #13 bus. Plan your trip at http://www.piercetransit.org/.
