The Greater Tacoma Peace Prize Committee invites nominations from individuals and organizations in the Greater Tacoma Area.

Recipients:

• 2005: George F. Russell, Jr.
• 2006: CRI (Conflict Resolution, Research & Resource Institute – Bill Lincoln and Polly Davis)
• 2007: Rev Ron Pierre Vignec, Salishan Lutheran Mission

Eligibility for nomination: the nominee (an individual, group, or organization) must be located in the Greater Tacoma area and must have made a significant contribution to local, regional, national, or world peace and harmony and/or a positive impact on the Greater Tacoma area.

The six member GTPP Committee will select the recipient(s). The award will be announced on April 10, 2008 and will be presented on May 10, 2008 at the Spring Banquet of the Scandinavian Cultural Center, Pacific Lutheran University.

Deadline for nominations is March 31, 2008.
